Privacy Policy

Redeemer Fellowship (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a church in North Rankin County, Mississippi. This policy explains what information we collect through redeemerms.org and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to care for people well, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us through the forms on this website, including our connect card, interest meeting RSVP, LifeGroup interest form, and Prayer Walk page. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • Household details, such as the number of adults and children and the nights you are available
  • Prayer requests, questions, and notes you write to our pastors
  • For the Prayer Walk, the route you walk and how long and how far you walked, recorded only while a walk is running

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as your browser type and the pages you visit. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use your information

  • To welcome you, answer your questions, and follow up after you visit
  • To help you find a LifeGroup and plan gatherings
  • To pray for the requests you share
  • To send you event information and ministry updates by email or text message, if you have agreed to receive them
  • To show a shared map of streets prayed over. The public map never shows names, phone numbers, or notes, and it leaves off the beginning and end of every walk so no one’s home is shown.

Text messages (SMS)

When you provide your phone number on one of our forms and submit it, you agree to receive text messages from Redeemer Fellowship. Messages may include a welcome or thank-you message, event information, LifeGroup and Prayer Walk updates, and ministry announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you sign up again.
  • For help, reply HELP to any message or email us at the address below.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share phone numbers only with the service provider that delivers our messages (Twilio), and only so the messages can be sent.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our ministry, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Supabase, which stores our form responses securely
  • Twilio, which delivers our text messages
  • Resend and Google Workspace, which deliver our email
  • Vercel, which hosts this website

Inside the church, your information is available only to pastors and staff who need it to care for you. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.

Online giving

Gifts to Redeemer Fellowship are processed by Tithe.ly on their secure website. We do not receive or store your card or bank account numbers. Tithe.ly’s own privacy policy governs the information you enter there.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Parents provide any information we need about their children, such as at Redeemer Kids check-in.

How we protect and keep your information

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls that limit who can see your information. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then we delete it.

Your choices

You may ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP and out of email by asking us. Contact us using the information below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
